Do you hate spam? Me too. That's why I'm not a big fan of email newsletters. You give up your email because there's something cool on a website and the only way to get it is to sign up. Next thing you know, there are tons of emails, one every other day, some more aggressive than others... So, this is a very casual email newsletter. My aim is to create a newsletter that's kind of interesting and worth opening, or has relevant information. I'm still in the learning process.

No one likes spam email. Not the cat. Not the chickens. Not me.
Though the chickens would like some spam from the can,
because they will eat almost anything!

How often do I send out newsletters? Maybe once a month. Maybe less often. Depends on what's going on with my personal life and how much time I have to stroke a newsletter into shape. If I could just slap it together, I might send one after each blog post, but that's not really my style...

What does the newsletter include?

  • The most recent blog posts, or the posts for that particular month or time period.
  • Upcoming events
  • NEW - other interesting or funny posts about Maui on the web
  • Tidbits about life on Maui

If  you're intrigued, sign up. You can always unsubscribe. I won't stalk you or your family. Promise!

  1. Dear Courtney,

I just got your email and was bowled over to see you mentioned me and the letter I sent last month, to tell you how much I enjoy your Newsletter. I am always happy to get it. Thank you for mentioning restaurants that you and your friends go to. I will have a wonderful time sampling them all. My friend, I should say, my high school sweetheart was who I had in mind to take out to these delicious restaurants you listed, when he comes to Maui! I am really happy! -- Christine V.

    1. Awesome! Glad that was helpful. Also did I mention Nalu's? Two friends really like it. It's in Kihei, but I've heard it's a bit loud. Haven't been there yet. If your high school sweetheart is coming to Maui, do something romantic and go to Mama's Fish House!

  2. Thanks for letting me know about this. As you know we have been on this soap box for over 40 years. Peace.

  3. You're welcome, mahalo for stopping by.

Comments are important to me, so mahalo for adding a comment! I will try to follow up when I receive one.
